I'd like to connect to Naslite without SMB, is there a way.

I'd like to use rsync preferrably to backup files, but dont want to advertise the netbios name of Naslite on the LAN.

Is there a way to do this?

EASY ! On the Services Configuration Menu turn OFF SMB service (option 5 until it reads "--"). ( I do that myself with FTP and NFS. )
