Hello,
Quick question - was thinking of purchasing NASLite M-2 to use as a media server. I have an external drive (can't remember if it is ntfs, or fat32). WOuld I be able to just mount the drive after installing M-2, or would I have to format the external drive...the problem is that I have a TON of movies on it that I don't want to lose, so if I could just mount the drive after and have access to them, that would be great. Any help would be much appreciated.

Sorry ... no. Can NOT mount the existing file system. It needs to be formatted by NASLite. You would need an intermediate place to store the files, or buy a separate (new) drive for M-2. :(
