Hi,
I have a NASLite-M2 server booting from a USB stick with 3 internal storage only hard drives, 0, 1 and 2. (2 1 TB SATA on a SATA to PCI converter card and 1 320 GB PATA drive)
I can transfer a 5GB file fairly quickly from say server drive 0 to another PC on the network using up almost a steady 95% of the ethernet bandwith. I can then transfer back this file to say server drive 1 at the same high speed. All good so far.

However attempts to transfer this 5 GB file from server drive 0 to server drive 1 are very very slow so as to be unusable in practice- showing less than 5% bandwith usage. I would have thought that intra-server transfers should blaze along.
Is this expected behaviour, or is it a bug?

Mirror speeds are very fast and mirror is a totally internal copy. In your case, the file is going from disk-0 to your computer and then is sent back to Disk-1. I suppose you have some "interrupt occupied" problem on your LAN card. Try to do the same copy using another computer.
