Hi There,
New to this, Could any one answer me this before I purchase, can NASLite-M2 be installed to a HDD?

yes - you can install it in 2 ways

1 - with non of the rest of the drive usable

2 - with the drive partitioned - so all of the rest of the drive is usable

naslite only uses about 64k so unless your drive is a compact flash or whatever you want to choose the option that gives the rest of the drive back

Thanks for the quick reply tony a.
I have a couple of 20GB Maxtors, maybe a 10GB also that I was going to use, but with the info re creating its own small partition with the rest of the drive available as storage will allow me to use my much bigger drives instead.

i prefer naslite on its own device - i currently use a 128meg compact flash card in a cf to ide adaptor - attach the adaptot to an ide ribbon cable and you can mount it on a pci backplate - so if you need to change it for any reason its simple
