I've looked through the forum for issues as this and found several but they were back a few years
so I'm not sure what might have caused this strange event.

I'm running M2X64 V1.66 on a LAN with Win7Pro machines. About two days ago the NAS box just
stopped appearing under Network:

All other boxes are present as you can see and I can map specific drives off the NAS but the unit as
a whole will not show up. This makes it difficult when attempting to do network backups of the worker
machines to the NAS as the NAS doesn't appear in the Network list when the backup s/w looks at the network.
Both the NAS and PCs are on 255.255.255.0 with workgroup name the same! I do not have Win7 HomeGroup
activated. All the Gig NIC PCs including the NAS home back to a Cisco Gig switch and the Gig switch then
connects to my Linksys router. A couple of slower networked machines connect directly into the router.

NetBios over TCP/IP is checked within IPV4. Any thoughts on this?

Thanks

I have made the following corrections to my PC and now my NasLite unit appears
in Network. The following steps were taken to resolve the issue:

Problem fixed but as to why I have no idea, as usual the MS forums where all over the
place.
