Hi again!
I am now reformating drives again and adding them to export etc....
When NASLite mounts the drive it is called Disk-1...etc inside of that is a directory MEDIA...can I change the name of this directory?
Am I supposed to save my files in this directory?
Don't want anymore mistakes... :D

dont know - but a question - you are using M2 - that is for what it suggests - media streaming etc - it was built for that - have never used it - always used Naslite in its native form - is there any reason you are using the media version - i am not saying it matters [dont know] but why complicate it is you dont need to

as i say i use Naslite-2 - it does what i want - i use it for file storage and media streaming on my home network which is all PC based

i know very little about M2 - but do know it is for streaming to other devices as well [ps3?] as well as PC's - to do that i believe other protocols were added - i have no idea if any of that was or is part of your problem - i assume the core of both products is the same - but again i say - i really dont know

some of the other posters here will have a much better idea than me as [i know] they use both products

wait and see what they have to say - answers are not always instant but they do come
