the slow boot may be down to one of two things

1 - you are using M2 and that i believe re-indexes the files or something like that on boot up - dont quote me as i am going from odd bits i have read - that will take time i guess

2 - if you are not closing NasLite cleanly - 8 from the admin menu - but just switching off at the switch it will instigate a disc check on boot up - that can take a while - a terabyte drive takes about an hour from memory

i would wait and see what others have to say about your use of M2 - personally i thing that is part of the problem - again dont quote me :D
