cannot see what the lan chip is - quick look at the board spec does not tell me - 1st thought is that its not supported by the 64bit version of NasLite

2nd thought is a bad connection or cable - dont know how much you played with the system in the upgrade but maybe something moved

This is from the D510MO_TechProdSpec.pdf
10/100/1000 Mbits/sec LAN subsystem using a Realtek 8111DL Gigabit Ethernet Controller

I'll replace the cat6 cable and see if that helps as soon as I get a chance.

have you run the hardware detection tool - that may give some info - also have you checked its detected and set to gigabit rather that 100

Even though the instructions are 64bit I doubt that running the 64bit version of NASLite will yield any gains. The Atom is not a server processor, it is a light weight desktop processor designed for good basic performance and reasonable power consumption.

The 64bit version of NASLite is more geared toward the servers out there and machines using Xeon and Opteron processors. Changing the cables will not fix your issue.

Hi Mike

Interesting idea. Do you say that NL64 may run slower on a AMD x64 CPU and 3GB RAM than NL32 on the same machine ?

How come ?

Just the opposite of that Rob. I believe that the 64 bit code is geared towards those processors and they should be faster.
