1. Anyway to hide the mirror drive from visibility?

2. Anyway to keep the drive numbers the same? They seem to shift when you enable say UPNP, save and reboot, the drives shift from say 0 and 1 to 1 and 3.

Thanks

1/ No. You have to mount the drive in order to mirror to it and if you mount it, it will be visible on the LAN

2/ I'm not so sure about this. Usually, if you don't change the BIOS and/or change the drives, the drive numbers don't change.

Thanks. As an aside the drive letters shift when using USB external drives.

Yes, if you plug and unplug USB drives, the IDE/SATA drive letters will switch (may depend on how the BIOS looks for drives). No way to change that except by NOT unplugging the USB drives ;)

Thanks. To be honest, I am not unplugging them. If you leave them plugged in, enable UPNP, it changes the drive numbers :-).

No biggie. I ripped them out of the enclosures and put them into the machine. Problemo solved!
