Hello!

Just installed Win7 64 bit and wanted to be able to make a shortcut on my screen for easy access!

How would this be done easily?

As telnet seems to be in command window and I don't know how to configure it to open the admin...

Any suggestions?

Thanks
Soren

I am happily using PuTTY ... don't remember where I downloaded it from, you'll have to search, but has worked well for me on both WinXP and Win7Pro/64bit. First setup takes a few steps, but well worth it. Not at my normal place at the moment, so can't help further. If you need more help, just "shout".

This is not actually that hard

Assuming you can telnet in anyway then all you need is a file called for example Naslite.bat (the .BAT is important)
In this File you would just have one line such as "telnet 192.168.x.x"
Create a shortcut for this bat file and place it on your desktop and away you go (do not put the command inside quotes mind that is just to show what needs to be in the file and rweplace the IP address with the one for your server)

Hope this helps

Doug
