Today I tried a new config of my NASLite-M2 NAS Server with two 1 TB Hard Drives connected to First and Second SATA connector on my MainBoard.
NASLite-M2 x64 is correctly configured and unlocked, I formatted my two disk but at reboot I had those (error/warning) messages ... in fact I cannot "see" the drives.

What is the matter ??
How can I do ??
The disks are perfect, no bad sectors, I fully tested them before assembling NAS.

would that happen if you did not save the config after formatting?

Good question. It might do just that.

By checking the cables I mean make sure they are good and seated properly in their mating connectors.

Make sure you are not using SATA cables on SATA2 drives.

I really don't know what happened, probably this menu < (1) - Export Disk-1 [ RW ] (RW, RO, --) > was not properly checked ... but now everything seems to work fine ... both disks mounted and mapped from my Windows clients !!
Thanks for the support !!

Boys ... is there any kind of log somewhere that "logs" NAS activity during hours, days & weeks ??

Michele.

Go to the web page and look at the network tab. There are stats there for your machines traffic. Before I did some work on my machine I had a total of over 25TB of transfer without a problem. Good hardware and software are almost bullet proof.
