ok, so i have this Motherboard : http://www.asrock.com/mb/overview.asp?M ... ENF6P-VSTA

Hardware Raid ( i believe and hope!). Looking to set 2x 2TB drives as Mirror (Raid 1).

So - completely confused. I believe that NASLite-M2 Requires hardware raid, and i have now switched this on in the Bios (I presume that the array is built in the bios or ??). However, do i need to create the array in the Hardware Raid Bios, or can i create all the raid settings in Naslite?

I have formatted both disks in Naslite, however they are both showing as "not mounted".

Yup, whilst i hapilly have a RAID 5 system running on another platform, I havent got a clue where to start on this one - anyone written a tutorial or gove me some advise, since the "manual" mentions about how to set the software up, however it doesnt seem to explain this, unless i've missed it twice!!

thanks for any assistance :)

Paul

in That case, sounds like another pointless purchase to me :(

course the sad thing is that you cant actually really test this before purchase - it sees the disks etc, however sounds like it's not compatable....
