Upgraded to M2 1.61 and after the installation I am not able to mount Disk-0 to use the extra disk space for storage. I installed M2 to Disk-0 with option 1. When I look at the Disk-0 options screen to mount the disk; all the options for Disk-0 are "*" (star out).

I am sure i missed something during the installation, but I am not sure what it is. Any thoughts on what I did wrong?

Thanks

Gary Fulton

If the disk is stared, then this disk is used only for the boot partition.

You have to do the instal with the option that doesn't use all the disk for the boot partition.

Be ware, all data on this disk will be (or is already!) wiped out.

You may have mixed option 1 and 2 when you have installed. (I can't remember which one does what). Once you have finished the install and rebooted, you'll have to format the data partition of Disk-0, then mount it and then reboot.

Other option: you install NL on a USB key and use Disk-0 for data.

Thank for the help

I tried several times to install on Disk-0, with no success of using the remaining drive for storage. I think it had something to do with me using a USB DVD drive to load M2 on Disk-0. I gave up. I used VMware Fusion to install onto USB stick, now it boots from a USB stick.

Thanks
Gary
