I am trying to install for 1st time and I get this message:
8245 timer not connected to APIC-IO

Can anyone please help, thanks,

What are you installing on? Reset the bios to defaults and turn acpi off for starters. see if that works and if it does turn acpi on and try again.

A zotac motherboard with american megatrends bios and an atom 330 dual processor.

I do not have the ability to turn of apic in the bios, no option is available.

Post exact hardware model ... might not be supported except with CORE3 version, but that's just going thru testing for M2 (regular NL CORE3 v2.6 recently became available).
