forgive for a lame question. I need to format a disk but can not for the life of me figure out how to unmount a drive .

Any help would be appreciated.

Go to the command console and telnet into the NL box. <telnet "your IP for your NL box"> No quotes or less/greater thans.

Select 3 - storage configuration

Select the drive you wish to format.

Select 8 - Format

You may have to set the Export Disk - X to "--" and reboot before it will allow you to run format first. Not sure and sure as hell wasn't about to try with my disks.
