I've spent some time looking through the user manual and here at the forum and I am coming up empty handed. So here is my question.

I have 3 disks installed and mounted. On each disk there are folders are automatically created that I see when viewing from windows explorer.

Disk-0 _NL_SWAP, lost+found, MEDIA
Disk-1 lost+found, MEDIA, Network Trash Folder, Temporary Items
Disk-2 lost+found, MEDIA, Network Trash Folder, Temporary Items

Is there a specific purpose for these folders on each disk? And can I delete them without affecting anything else? If anyone has a link to where this in the forum or where I can look in the user manual. I didnt see it.

Also I have copied over about 200GB of files from my computer to the NAS. Does 90 seconds a GB sound normal for copy time?

I've put this NAS together with the following.

3 - 500gb WD5002abys
1gb of memory DDR2 PC5400 (I think)
3.2ghz Pent4
Standard 3com NIC (not gigabit)
Asus P5AD2 Deluxe

I am using a Windows XP PC and all I see in addition to "my" folders are the MEDIA folder and the lost&found folder on each drive and the swapfile folder on the drive to which it has been assigned.

I would hazard a guess that the Network Trash Folder and Temporary Items folders are created by one of the client computers.
