Does Naslite-M2 have (or will in the future) support for the 3Ware Pci-x 9550sx sata raid card? I see that the 7 & 8 series cards are supported , but I have the 9550 one. Any help welcomed as I have a 133mz pci-x slot that I want to use.

I don't think that you will see support for it until the move to the 2.6.xx kernel. I do know that it is in the pipe.

The really funny part to me is that you are thinking of throwing a high performance card like that at a box that running full tilt on a gigabit interface will only muster around 80-90MB/sec. That card will, with proper tuning, hit close to 600MB/sec and so is such overkill as to not even be funny.

Thanks for the reply mikeiver1. The card is an over kill but it is just lying around doing nothing. So using what is available. Will wait for the upgrade b4 I use it. Hope it is soon. In the mean time will go with a 3ware 8506 card.
