I noticed a problem (bug?) when moving a folder between NAS disks using SMB on a Windows machine (XP x64 on an AMD 64). The first file in the folder would start copying, then I would get an error "Network name no longer available". There was a period of drive cranking on the NAS, and after rechecking the drive contents, the first file was indeed moved from Disk-1 to Disk-2. This all happened without network activity with the associated file copy. Looked like the NAS was handling it all locally until the Windows machine errored on me.

My NAS is an AMD K6/3 500 MHz with 256M RAM. The folder in question was about 95G in size. Memory or speed limitation maybe causing the network to time out because of maxed out system resources on the NAS?

Thanks
