I have enabled upnp through telnet admin utility (showing [ ON ] (ON,--) but via the web interface it showing disbaled and when I search for my NAS via my Xbox 360 I do not see the NAS. Same behaviour with DAAP.

You need to enable it in the telnet, save the configuration, then reboot the box.
