I've upgraded my flash-booted NASLite to M2 without any problems. Everything works just as before.

Playing with DAAP and uPNP I have mixed results. I have Rythmbox music player on UBUNTU Linux, iTunes 8.02 on Windoze and a Nokia N81 mobile phone.

1. The Nokia sees M2 and I can browse and play MP3s (unfortunately most of my music is in OGG format which the inbuilt Nokia app doesn't recognise)
2. iTunes sees Rythmbox and all files on my Ubuntu PC, but it won't play them
3. iTunes doesn't see M2 at all
4. Rythmbox can see iTunes but sticks at "retrieving songs from music share"
4. Rythmbox only sees a few of my music files on M2, it looks like just the few MP3s, not the OGG

I'm new to all this so if anyone has any ideas they would be gratefully received! uPNP seems fine but DAAP isn't.

Make sure iTunes sharing preferences are set to "Look for shared libraries"

I don't think OGG format is currently supported, this can be added in the next release.

Could you please ensure that FLAC, TAK and WV (all lossless codecs) are also included in the next rev?

I'll need two things, links to plugins (if available) for iTunes, since iTunes doesn't support these additional formats out of the box.

And links to DAAP aware music players that support those formats, so we may evaluate it.

Yes, it is. Rythmbox sees it okay.

Please, please, please add this asap. I sort of assumed OGG would be classed as a media file on a Linux based system - I would have waited before upgrading if I had known it wasn't supported.

So down grade back to NASLite 2.0, it's not a problem to do this and it will work just as it did before M2.

Sorry Mike, I'm not clear how this would help me as I have already paid for M2. I am just hoping that OGG support arrives in the next 180 days!
