Hello,

I just purchase NL to test and replace an old Freenas installed on VIA EPIA EN12000.
I installed NL on USB card, run "Initial NASLite-2 USB Setup" without problem (network IP adress, supply license ID, save, etc).
After reboot, NL display "Detecting network device (not found)" and next step automatically turn off.

Is there a way to verify the network interface assigned in NL? (Because there is FireWire and Ethernet interfaces on VIA)
Is there a solution to stop the "turn off' procedure to return to initial configuration?

Many thanks to answer

The unfortunate answer is that your on board NIC isn't supported. One of the NICs by Intel, 3Com, Netgear, Linksys or the likes should get you up and running.
