I got this message in the info on disk 1
A mandatory SMART command has failed: exiting. To continue, turn on the -P option
I'm thinking this is why I get the 3 +3 (check disk) beepcode every five minutes or so.
So... how do I turn on the -P option?

At this point in the development timeline, there is no way to turn off the SMART checking. Tony has indicated that it will be an option in a future release.

As of now, you have the solution I use for my old, non-SMART drives; Pull the speaker wires!
