I am trying to get NFSG to work in a WinXP environment. I installed the Unix extensions for windows and I can create folders on the NFSG box(on Disk-1) but when I try to add files, I get a error saying "access denied, please make sure that the disk is not full or write protected" I was watching what was on the screen of the NFSG server and it said this " Oct 16 20:06:08 NASLite-NFSG user.notice klogd: lockd: unauthenticated request from (c0a87b53:940) "

Could someone help me get this working? BTW, the reason that I am not using SMBG is the 4 gig limitation on it and for me that is a deal breaker.

Thanks

Sounds like the same problem someone was having with the FTP version, read this thread.

Don't write to the root, rather the Disk-x folder

Hm,

Not sure why you would be having problems writing to Disk-1 via NFS. I have no experience with the Unix extensions for windows, but can verify that NASLite-NFS/NFSG works flawlessly with Linux, FreeBSD and OS-X. Given that, I'd asume the problem may be on the Windows end but have no idea what it may be.

If someone is using the Unix extensions for windows with NASLite, please shed some light on this.
