NASLite Network Attached Storage

I have been able to extract the NASLite-Smb.img (a few mouse clicks in Ubuntu live) but cannot find the Linux commands to write this file to a floppy.

Found at least 3 posts referring to the commands "on this site' but I cannot find the actual commands - despite multiple searches and much too much time looking.

Can someone list them or point me to a post...?

They're on the page where you downloaded the img files, at the very bottom there are 3 lines which give the commands.

gunzip NASLite.img.gz
fdformat /dev/fd0u1722
dd if=NASLite.img of=/dev/fd0u1722

Many thanks - don't know why I missed the commands before.

Anyway, made floppy - set up trial server: a piece of cake.

If the server works as well as everyone claims then I am definitely going to upgrade to NASLite + !!

Put down my initial floppy problems as an inability to look at the screen and the fact that I am a Linux newbie.
