NASLite Network Attached Storage

Hi there

I have an SMB Naslite, but would like to share the same files with FTP.

Is it just a case of make a new disk with the FTP Naslite and booting my existing Naslite with that disk.

Will the FTP Naslite see and read the disks or will it want to format them and destroy the data.

And for all thos Apple Mac users, who needs AppleTalk when you can use FTP naslite on almost any platform

Hi Alex,

All versions are interchangeable with regard to the available drives. For example, if you normally run NASLite-SMB and wish to switch to NASLite-FTP, you can do that without the need to reinitialize the drives. Your files will then be available for use via FTP.

In other words, you can switch between SMB/FTP/NFS simply by booting the version you need.
