Hi,

I want to create such a boot Disk.
But on the knoppix CD is none fdformat and i cant install it on my knoppix can i use a alternate format programm ?

Or is there a other solution for my problem.

Can i create such a disk on winxp ??

what kernel of knoppix are you using? i used 3.3 and it worked fine to create a naslite boot disk.

worked fine for me from Knoppix 3.6 "live" CD (live means you can boot straight into a KDE/linux environment from the CD without having to install to the hard drive).

just fire up a terminal and enter the commands as instructed on the main site here. i don't know if fdformat is a standard linux command or not. i doubt you'll "find" it on the CD by browsing it though.
