Is it posible to configure a floppy and some HD drives on one PC and then just use them (both floppy and drives) in an other PC?

The reason I ask is because I want to use an old industrial small form factor MB, that does not have a VGA connection. I could try to make an adaptor from 16pin to HDBD15 female for VGA but to not want to risk something getting demaged. (Any tips on exact wiring for a aAeon PCM 5894 are still wanted).

there should be no reason you cannot.

Simply boot with the floppy in the new machine and see if you can telnet to it.

I would not move the disks until you have checked this as occasionally disk checks make boot up a slow process.

If you can telnet to it shutdown via telnet, install the disks and try again.

Remember that it can take some time to boot with disks installed so keep an ear out for the beeps.
