NASLite Network Attached Storage

hi there,

i'm using an NASLite NFS disk and win XP home, installed Micro$oft Client for SFU with this nice trick and followed the instructions given in this forum. I can map the drive, write, read and delete files on the shared disk, but one thing i can not: overwrite existing files. This is really bugging me, because part of the disk should be used for backup purposes and it's easier just to copy changed files over the existing ones than to first delete the old ones, etc...
All files i put on the disk are automatically write protected and i tried different settings with Client Administration and so on but i can't figure out how to change that... On XP i'm always working as Administrator.

Any idea?

p.s.: i use the NFS version because i need this for streaming movies from the DBox (DVB receiver), which is working great BTW!

nobody has an idea? mhmm... one more thing: when i start XP i get an error message about login for th nfs server or the mapping of the drive or something, i click ok, everything's fine... and i can access the drive.

but the overwriting issue persists...

another thing i could mention: i'm using an international (german) version of win XP - maybe that's got something to do with it? mhmm... i tried different things now, nothing really does the trick, so i'd really appreciate some help/ideas...
