Wanted to see what NASlite is all about. Downloaded the NASlite SMBG (gigabit) Image, got it on a floppy and booted it. Error msg says NIC not found.

Question: Will I have to fix all of serverelements bootables, or will the "paid for" images have all the drivers needed?

ps: I've been working with Linux for only about 45 minutes so far..

I can't speak for Tony, but I would guess that if your gigabit nic is not supported by naslite, it's not suported by naslite+. If it's not a gigabit nic, you should be using the SMB version.

Did you check to see if your nic is based on a supported chipset?

Otherwise, try another nic.
