Since NASLite formats the drives using ext2, that means if NASLite were to become corrupted for some odd strange reason, I could mount the drives in another linux box, right?

Or have NASLite reloaded, and it would detect the drives as is, w/o formatting?

Thanks
Linh

Correct on both counts.

awesome. all that's missing is raid support/more controllers (huge PIA probably.. so many drivers) and SATA (again, tons of drivers). Another thing would be nice is if we could run this straight off a bootable cd.. maybe just have a custom answer file to fill out, and then use that to build a bootable iso.

Keep up the good work fellas.

I'm not technical or anything, but I imagine that having a CD with a config file on it as well as the OS would be a pretty easy thing to do, and I can't see any realy drawbacks (other than having to burn a new cd when you change your network conf). Feature wise I'm a proud member of the add-a-print-server camp.
