Using Win98se I've tried Winzip, 7-Zip and the win gui version of gzip.

All three say the file is not a recognised gzip format.

I'm trying to ungzip NASLite-SMB.img.gz so I can use rawrite to put it on a 1.7mb floppy.

Or am I missing something glaringly obvious ?

Pete

Some browsers uncompress automaticly, so it's most likely that the file is no longer a gzip file. Take a look at http://www.serverelements.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=39&sid=c47548e6c45a17b7b8523d5fa94017e3
