This will work from Red Hat 8.0 correct?
I go to start - Run Programs....
To make a bootable NASLite v1.x floppy disk in Linux use the following:
gunzip NASLite-SMB.img.gz
fdformat /dev/fd0u1722
dd if=NASLite-SMB.img of=/dev/fd0u1722
The first line works for me as I see the file get created and can find...
Naslite-SMB.img.
I am not sure if the next two lines are working correctly though....
When I do line 2 the floppy light comes on for about 3 seconds - seems quick for a format!
3rd line doesn't seem to do much either as light comes on for maybe 2 seconds.....
Does anyone know why - dd if=NASLite.img of=/dev/fd0u1722 command might not be working correctly?
Any help would be great.
