I have a NASlite box hardwired to a wireless router.

A wireless XP Pro client can map the drive easily.

A wireless XP Home client can't map but can connect via HTTP and d/l files on the NAS.

Is there some way to get the XP Home machine to map to the NAS? Or will I have to use something like FTP to transfer files?

Any help would be appreciated.

i thought the main difference between home and pro is that home cant be part of a domain.

surely home includes workgroup file sharing?

Well, I just re-ran the wireless network setup on the XP Home machine and everything works fine now. Can map the drive no problem.

Home must be rather flaky because XP Pro had no problems.
