Hi, I built this system real fast to move some data off other boxes so that I could do some maintenance and replace equipment. Since I built the Naslite server real fast I decided to take it down and set the drives in their bays and clean up the wiring. The drives I am using are 2 X160g, 1X10g, and a 1X20g for a total of four drives. All drives were in and operating in a linux/windows environment and could be seen by all.

My Problem: After rebooting Naslite it does not see any of the drives it responds with “no disks present”. Strange so I attempted to re config with Naslite and no go…. Naslite does not see the drives now here is what I get off the log.

I had a similar problem. Turned out to be a master/slave-setting problem. Check the jumper settings, avoid cable-select.
