Just wondering if the newer version corrects the problem I had in copying files to the FTP server. When copying files over to the server, all of the file date and time stamps were changed to the date and time copied.

Also, was anyone else having this problem or might it a problem specific and limited to the old system I was trying it out on...a Pentium 166.

What version of NASLite are you using?

I haven't seen a problem in the past with the date/time, I just checked my NASLite+ box and it doesn't have the issue you describe.

The manual indicates Revision 1.0. I assume that is the version number. I downloaded the software November 2 2004.

The earlier post about this issue was December 11, 2004.

I have another old system to try this on if no one else is having this problem. Perhaps it could be the FTP program I used to copy to the server.

In any event, if no one else is seeing this issue, it must be unique to my setup. In other words, can I assume the files being copied should retain their time and date stamp when copied to Naslite server? If the answer is yes then I will test it on other systems.

Thanks

Yes, the files should retain thier time/date stamps.

I would suggest making sure you are using the latest version of NASLite v1.3, or 1.4 for the gigabit version.
