Firstly I know that naslite-SMB cannot transfer files over 4Gb but when I am transferring multiple video files (i.e 3 * 350meg files) to my naslite it sometimes crashes and my windows machine says the network location is unavailable and it does a restart and checks the HDDs.

I can sometimes (about 50% of the time) transfer files totaling < 4Gb but other times it just crashes.

I am sorry if this is a n00b question but I have searched the forums to no prevail. If this has been covered please can someone point me to the right post. :)

You have hardware issues. Check RAM first. If it crashes under load then check IDE cables and NIC. When it crashes do you see any error messages on the Naslite console? What is your system spec?

I have checked all cables etc and all are fitted and working correctly to the best of my knowledge. Here is a list of my hardware from the naslite log I use telnet to access the control panel etc of the naslite however i cannot get access when it crashes to view any messages.
