I'm a new to Naslite - love the product and have set up my first NAS. Will be upgrading to Naslite-2 soon. Here is my question. My NAS has been working great, but in attempts to increase speed, I have added a Maxtor (Promise) IDE-133 controller. Attached to it are 3 ATA-133 drives. When I boot with the drive cables attached to the controller card, Naslite does not see the drives. Message is, no drives to mount - or something similar. When I connect drive cables back to the mobo, all works just fine. Anyone have suggestions? Does Naslite support IDE controller cards?

Thanks.

NASLite 1.x only sees the on board controlers. You need to get NL2.0x if you want all the bells and whisles.

Thanks, Mike. I thought that might be the case. I'll be upgrading to Naslite-2 shortly.
