Could it be possible to have a booteable diskette, as NASLite itself, but with "utilities" such as Copy or Move files from one disk to another?

I removed the CD drive from my NASLite PC, so I cannot boot a live CD such as Knoppix, and I would really like to reorganize my files/disks without having to move lots of data through the network.

Maybe there could be some other useful services that could be included (Time Sync, saved to BIOS?)
I am a (very) newbie Linux user, so maybe building this diskette is no big deal, but I have no idea how it could be done...

...just an idea...or a suggestion

Thanks & Regards

XD

there's another thread floating around with something similar in it.

is it really the case that to move files between two naslite drives within the same box, it brings the file back across your network to your work pc, and then back across the network to the same naslite box?

i only have one drive in my naslite, so i can't really verify.
