A power hit took out my nas-box and killed the mb. I purchased a new mb and cpu and memory. I plan to install and just reconnect the drives. Simple as that, so I hope.

What will happen when I first boot and the system sees a lot of new updated stuff? will I lose need to reformat the drives?

thanks I can supply hardware info if that is important.
