 Post subject: A DHCP server??

I think it would be nice if the brilliant NAS also offered a DHCP server-option. I know that there exist several small linux distros which give that possibility, but I can't make them work and I would like the DHCP server in the same box as the NASLite.

Hy,

wich option do you mean? NASLite als DHCP Server or DHCP Client?
Both I think do not needed.
A Network Attached Storage in a Small Network ist placed as a Server and a Server has always fixed IPs!
To carry it away it will be too large ;-) (externa USB Caseswhere better this way).
If I want a DHCP Server I took eisfair oder another fixed-Disk small Distri.
Sorry, just my 2 Cent.
